I never really grew up in church, but I had a mom who led me to Christ and protected me from worldly things. I never had friends who loved Jesus as much as I did or wanted to get to know Jesus more. Entering my first 2 years of college, I drifted away from Jesus, not reading my bible, wanting to do what everyone else was doing, and just being a lukewarm Christian. This was until I started my junior year at TU, where Goalline Ministries became family to me. They helped me rediscover my passion for Jesus, showing that Jesus truly loves me and has never left my side, even through the storms I faced. They did this by having Survivor nights, inviting me to church, Bible studies, and being so welcoming. No matter how broken I was, they were willing to help me get back on my feet and lead me back to Jesus. Goalline was one reason I am where I am today, and this past year I was able to be baptized by Barbra. For the first time, I felt such a strong presence of Jesus in my life. Not only did I find my way back to Jesus, but I was able to help others find their way too. Before every game, I got on my knee and prayed. At the beginning of the season, I only had two girls join me. At the end of this season, I had 6 girls by my side praying with me! Goalline will forever be a part of my life, and I’m so grateful to have them by my side!
